I am using the WAVE Contour Plus machine at home and I would like to know if anyone can tell what positions I can do to strengthen my back?

I find a plank is great at targeting those low back muscles... so put your forearms on the machine and get into a plank position on the floor.

Also, you can use the straps and stand facing the machine, with both arms pull back on the straps... that is another great way of targeting your back muscles.

Strong abdominal muscles (especially the deep abs) are as crucial as strong back muscles for supporting the lower back and preventing lower back pain. Strong quadriceps (front of thigh muscles) is important to prevent back injuries when lifting.
Some exercises you may find beneficial for strengthening your back and can be done using the WAVE Contour Plus are:

o Pelvic Tilt: lower back stretching exercise and abs strengthening exercise
o Basic Twist: lower back stretching exercise.
o The Cat: back stretching exercise
o The Cobra: abdominal, lower back and chest stretching exercise
o Knee to Chest: Gluteal stretching exercise
