Hi, I have tried several different vibration plates over the last year and I keep discovering the same thing....my teeth chatter way too much. This is painful for me and has really discouraged me from participating in this type of exercise. Does anyone have any sugguestions??? This would be very helpful!

Hi VibCrazy,
I am a certified vibration trainer at Koonar Physiotherapy. At our centre we have 8 WAVE Vibration Plates, and I can definitely relate to your question. Alot of our members have the same issue when they are first starting their exercise program. There is an easy solution to your problem! When you are doing ANY of your exercises, make sure to have a bend in the joints you are working out. For example, if you are in a squat position, make sure to have your knees bent enough so that you dont have any vibration to your head. Also if your in a push-up position make sure you bend your elbows. I hope this works for you because you definitely don't want to miss out on any opportunities to exercise using vibration training.

When I lie on the machine sometimes the vibration is too intense, what should i do?

Hi Roger - when lying on the machine, you want to make sure your chest isn't on the machine, as this can be uncomfortable. If you are lying on your back, doing a low back massage for example, have just the lower back on the machine and the upper body resting on a mat off the plate. This shoudl minimize the intensity. Also, for this kind of massage, you would want to be on the LOW setting!
