Vibration exercise provides resistance and strength training; therefore it is also good for diabetes, helping increase insulin sensitivity and efficiency of insulin. It helps build strong bones and muscles and increases the metabolic rate. At the same time, it increases the use of glucose by muscles and improves the ability of muscle tissue to store it. Research suggests that vibration exercise may be an effective and low time consuming tool to enhance glycemic control in type 2 diabetes patients.

I've seen people in their 90's on vibration machines. It helps them stay independent and in their homes instead of in retirement homes.

i work with people of all ages and sizes and the wave machine is perfect for people with mobility issues. whether they're in a wheel chair, have MS, circulation issues or simply fatigue.

Older people are great candidates for vibration exercise. I work at Koonar Physiotherapy with patients of all ages, even some into their 80's who find vibration exercise to be very helpful. Some of the results we see are improvements in balance, leg strength and endurance. Improving leg strength especially helps in activities like walking, climbing stairs, and getting up out of a chair. These are all helpful in maintaining one's independence!
